Diana was born in 1969 in Sevenoaks, Kent. After working for ten years in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, she moved to Ulverston, Cumbria in 2010 where she now lives and works. Her art is inspired by the ways in which people connect with their internal and external environments. The subject matter often involves the human figure set against organic forms and patterns of nature. Beginning work as a self-employed artist in 2004, following her H.N.D. in Fine Art at Hastings, Diana went on to study for a Masters in Fine Art at Cardiff University. She has her own very individual way of painting and drawing, as well as working on a commission basis. She works from her studio where she creates artworks as well as artist prints and frames to a professional standard. Diana also teaches art, runs community classes and models for artists and students.
